Good science is wasted if nobody can understand it. We fund communication and education that helps the public, patients and clinicians make sense of the evidence.
Communication and education projects are chronically hard to fund as they don't directly result in a commercial return. Duet, as a charity, is not seeking a commercial return, therefore we support training that helps scientists explain their work, community sessions that answer real questions, and resources for teachers, students and patient groups.
